Job Description:
- Deliver seamless administration within the UWA School of Engineering.
- Drive service excellence through collaboration and process improvement.
- Full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 3 years.
- Base salary range: $86,540 – $95,920 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools’ and University’s strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice. The Schools Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the University’s Schools.

About the opportunity
- Provide coordinated administrative support across school operations, including research student administration, graduate research activities, scholarships, office management, meetings, events, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with teams across Schools Operations to deliver high-quality services, support teaching and program activities, and respond effectively to complex enquiries.
- Offer policy and procedural advice, liaise with stakeholders, and identify and implement improvements to administrative workflows and practices.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial relevant administrative experience at an appropriate level.
- Substantial relevant administrative experience at an appropriate level.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email.
