Full-time, permanent position available
Base salary will be in the range $97,268.85 - $104,348.98 + 17% Superannuation (HEW6)
Based at our picturesque St Lucia Campus
About This Opportunity
Play a pivotal role in supporting the executive and administrative functions of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement). You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience managing diverse stakeholders, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is essential, particularly in managing complex travel arrangements, itinerary development and executive scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Manage administration systems, ensuring efficient workflow and prioritisation.
Act as a key liaison, handling enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee the Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s schedule, diary management, and travel coordination.
Manage financial processes, including reimbursements, expenses, and account reconciliation.
Coordinate portfolio-relevant projects, research, and draft correspondence including on occasion, minute taking and committee organisation.
Maintain awareness of the portfolio’s operational plan, budget, and key University initiatives.
Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures.
Organise functions, workshops, meetings, and engagement activities.
Support the coordination of international delegations and stakeholder engagement.

About You
Relevant degree with experience in senior executive support or extensive administrative expertise supporting a senior executive in a large organisation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving abilities in handling confidential matters.
Proven experience in stakeholder management, issues resolution, and policy navigation.
Expertise in domestic and international travel coordination and itinerary development, including complex scheduling across multiple time zones.
Knowledge of university administration and corporate systems is highly desirable.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia, etc.
