    • Base salary will be in the range $97,268 - $104,348 + 17% super (HEW Level 6)

    Key responsibilities will include:  

    • Provide seamless executive support to the Executive Director, including complex diary, travel, and workflow management.

    • Coordinate key governance activities such as meetings, committees, and stakeholder engagements, ensuring high-quality documentation and follow-up.

    • Oversee financial administration including budgets, transactions, and reconciliations in line with University policy and procedures.

    • Lead the organisation of projects, events, and communications that support HTQ’s strategic priorities and partnerships.

    About You   

    • Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive support within a complex and dynamic organisational environment.

    • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate needs, and meet deadlines with accuracy.

    • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders across academia, government, industry and the broader community.

    • Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

    • Strong financial administration capability, including experience with budgeting, reconciliations and processing transactions in line with policy and procedures.

    • Sound problem-solving skills and judgement, with the ability to take initiative and resolve or appropriately escalate issues.

    Health Translation Queensland (HTQ) is a partnership organisation bringing together 13 of Queensland’s world-class universities, research institutes and health services to help translate well-evidenced research into clinical practice.

    At HTQ, we connect the people and ideas needed to turn research into better health service delivery. By linking researchers with clinicians and consumers, we help tackle health service priorities and drive improvements in clinical practice.

    As a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) accredited Research Translation Centre, we work to build the capability of our research translation workforce and to remove barriers to collaboration to accelerate research translation into clinical practice.

    With the support of our partners, we’re ultimately helping Queensland’s health system become more connected, capable, innovative and responsive through research translation.
