About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Work Health and Safety Project Coordinator to lead a two-year project focused on strengthening WHS systems, governance and practices across the Faculty of Science and Technology. Working closely with academic, professional and technical teams, you will drive projects that improve safety, compliance and capability across complex teaching, research and operational environments.

This role is ideal for a WHS professional with strong project coordination experience, particularly within laboratory, research, technical or facilities-based environments, who enjoys delivering practical improvements and building lasting organisational capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects to improve WHS systems, governance and risk management.
• Review and enhance laboratory, fieldwork and high-risk activity processes.
• Develop consistent WHS procedures, training frameworks and induction programs.
• Strengthen incident investigation and continuous improvement practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed sustainable WHS improvements across the Faculty.
