    • Full-time, Fixed-term position until end of Dec 2026 with Base salary in the range of $79,096 - $83,863 + 17% super (HEW Level 4) 

    • Based at our Vibrant St Lucia Campus.

    About This Opportunity  

    Join the UQ Library's Scholarly Communication and Repository Services team and play a key role in supporting the University's research environment. As a Research Output Officer, you will maintain the accuracy and integrity of UQ eSpace, ensuring research outputs are discoverable, compliant and reported correctly. This role supports the systems and services that showcase UQ research and contribute to important reporting and performance outcomes.

    This full-time fixed-term opportunity until the end of December 2026 is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems and metadata while delivering high-quality support to researchers and the broader UQ community.

    Key responsibilities will include:  

    • Maintaining accurate publication records that showcase UQ research.

    • Supporting open access initiatives that increase the reach and impact of research outputs.

    • Reviewing and maintaining research data to support reporting and performance outcomes.

    • Providing expert support and guidance to researchers and the broader UQ community.

    • Ensuring UQ eSpace remains accurate, reliable and discoverable.

    About You   

    You will be a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with information systems, data and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in providing excellent customer service.

    You will demonstrate:

    • A relevant qualification in library and information studies, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.

    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.

    • Digital capability and data literacy, including experience working with systems, databases or information repositories.

    • Strong organisational skills, initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse stakeholder groups.
