About the role:
We are seeking a people-focused leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality student engagement and support services across the Faculty of Business, Government and Law.
In this position, you will drive service excellence, optimise business processes, and build strong partnerships across the University. You will play a key role in shaping how the Faculty delivers student support, leading continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with academic and administrative policies.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Student Engagement team, managing workloads, performance and coaching to ensure timely, accurate, student-centred service delivery.
- Oversee core functions including admissions, credit and recognition of prior learning, course advice, complex case management, study plans, progression and graduation, ensuring policy-aligned, consistent decision-making.
- Resolve escalated enrolment and progression matters, partnering with Program Directors and Associate Deans to ensure consistent policy interpretation and student-focused outcomes, and advising on articulation and accreditation matters.
- Manage academic progression processes, complex study plan approvals and graduation referrals, ensuring effective cohort oversight.

You bring demonstrated leadership experience, sound judgement in managing complex matters, and the ability to build collaborative relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders while leading dynamic a team.
