    • Full-time, continuing position  

    • Salary Range: $ 150,816 - $ 160,739 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

    The team 

    Reporting to the Director, Post Award and Contracting Services, this role holds broad decision-making authority that drives both operational performance and tactical strategy, coordinating across multiple functions to implement process improvements, manage risks, and align departmental initiatives with broader institutional goals.

    Experience 

    To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:   

    • Proven experience leading a team in contract management or research administration

    • Experience in creating organisational impact through transformational change

    • Proven ability to drive improvements to administrative efficiency and output

    • Proven organisational skills, including sound judgement, priority setting, and deadline management

    • Proven experience in research management and administration, particularly in contract management within a university environment

    • Proven written and oral communication skills for effective engagement with staff, stakeholders, and external agencies

    • Experience in applying commercial acumen and information systems technologies to support management strategies
