THE ROLE
The School of International Studies is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for inclusion within our casual academic pool from 2026-2028.
If you are interested in being engaged as a casual teaching academic for German teaching at Macquarie University, please register your Expression of Interest and provide the requested details contained in the online Qualtrics Survey and Workday application process as detailed below. Currently we are looking to expand our pool to fill potential gaps in 2026, with more work opening up in 2027.
The School of International Studies offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate units to students completing courses within the Faculty of Arts, as well as offering elective Arts units to students from other faculties at Macquarie University and OUA.
We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest from appropriately qualified individuals for inclusion within our appointable pool of casual academics to provide marking and tutoring support during the 2026 academic year.
For your application to be considered for this year, please register your Expression of Interest (EOI) via the online Qualtrics Survey and Workday application by July 19th.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Fluency in German
Experience teaching language at the tertiary level
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to interact effectively with students, staff and the community
