    PRIMARY DETAIL

    • Annual base salary from $88,670- $100,815 (HEW Level 5) per annum, plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading
    • Full-time, continuing role with hybrid working arrangements
    • Based at Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde

    As an Education Systems Administration Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support across the platforms used to deliver education at Macquarie. From processing curriculum data to resolving everyday enquiries, your work will help students engage with their learning content and experiences with ease.

    Working closely with the Lead, Education Systems, and partnering with teams across the University, both academic and professional, you will help triage, resolve and continually improve service delivery across our education systems. It's a varied, hands-on role where your contribution makes a real difference to the student journey.

    If this is you, join the Education Systems Team within the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) and play a key part in delivering the systems and processes that bring learning to life for our students.

    About the Role

    Reporting to the Lead, Education Systems, you will:

    • Provide administrative support for planning, coordinating and delivering educational experiences across systems and platforms, ensuring accurate and timely processing of data and queries.

    • Maintain education systems through data entry, updates and verification to uphold data integrity and accuracy, participating in testing and upgrading activities.

    • Undertake a range of project support functions for the delivery of curriculum and education systems projects.

    • Liaise with academic and professional staff to gather and organise curriculum information and learning content, ensuring alignment with governance, policy and procedure.

    • Generate reports, insights and benchmarking on education data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

    • Act as an initial triage point for enquiries regarding education processes and systems, monitoring, resolving and escalating, as appropriate.

    About You

    You are a proactive, well-organised, and detail-oriented professional who enjoys keeping complex systems running smoothly. As a methodical and approachable administrator, you take have an eye for accuracy and take pride in your exceptional customer service. You are comfortable handling a high volume of tasks, working with data and systems, and building productive working relationships with a wide range of people.

    Selection Criteria

    • Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in administration, customer service, business or a related discipline.

    • Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills to engage with a diverse range of audiences.

    • Experience completing high-volume administration functions.

    • Excellent attention to detail, time management and written communication skills.

    • Experience using business systems and running reports.

    • Capability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Desirable: Experience with systems used to delivery educational experiences, familiarity with university policies and administrative processes, and prior experience with University systems.
