    About the role:

    Join the Centre of Ageing Research and Translation (CARAT), a multidisciplinary research centre committed to improving the lives of older people through impactful research.

    As a Senior Research Fellow, you will lead and contribute to innovative projects across one or more of CARAT's three core research themes: Dementia and Cognition, Innovative Models of Care, and Nursing and Allied Health Workforce.

    Working collaboratively with researchers, industry and community partners, you will help generate evidence that informs policy, practice and better outcomes for older Australians.

    This is a Canberra based 3-year fixed-term full-time appointment, however fractional appointments will be considered by negotiation.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Lead and contribute to the design, management, delivery and analysis of research projects.
    • Lead and contribute to high-quality academic publications, and the development and preparation of research grant applications.
    • Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with University colleagues, industry, government and community stakeholders.

    About you:

    You are an accomplished researcher holding a PhD qualification in a discipline relevant to ageing and/or health. You have a demonstrated track record in ageing, aged care or health services research, and thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while confidently managing your own research portfolio.
