    Reporting Analyst

    • Employment Type: Full Time (35 hours per week)
    • Duration: Continuing
    • Remuneration: Level 6 $108,021 - $115,233 (depending on experience) + 17% super + leave loading
    • Location: UNSW Kensington Campus, NSW (hybrid)

    Why Your Role Matters:

    At UNSW, we believe great decisions start with great insights. As a Reporting Analyst, you'll play an important role in delivering planning and performance reporting that helps inform strategic priorities across the University. Working closely with stakeholders across Faculties and Divisions, you’ll lead the intake and reporting processes to support quarterly reporting updates and consolidate these into reporting dashboards and papers for executives to enable informed decision-making. Your work will improve reporting consistency, strengthen organisational performance and support continuous improvement across Australia's leading University.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and deliver quarterly planning and performance reporting across the University.
    • Support the ongoing enhancement of the Smartsheet reporting tool to improve efficiency and data quality.
    • Develop and maintain engaging dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI, Smartsheet or Excel.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, validate and consolidate performance data and insights.
    • Identify trends, risks and opportunities that support better decision-making.
    • Contribute to improving reporting frameworks, processes and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.

    Who You Are:

    You're a curious and collaborative reporting professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful stories. You have a strong eye for detail, thrive in a complex environment and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to deliver reporting that creates real value. You're proactive, solutions-focused and passionate about using data to drive continuous improvement.

    You'll also bring:

    • Experience coordinating reporting activities in a large and complex organisation.
    • Strong Power BI (including DAX), Excel and SQL skills.
    • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
    • The ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships across diverse teams.
    • Experience with Smartsheet or similar planning tools, and an interest in AI-enabled productivity tools, will be highly regarded.
