We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our Hotel rooms, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all areas.
Ensure that all rooms and facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels as required.
Ensure all cleaning materials are used appropriately and stored safely.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking when necessary.
Adhere to all safety and cleaning protocols.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Available shifts for this role are between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday to Sunday. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia.
ABOUT YOU
With some previous experience working in a hotel housekeeping department or commercial cleaning setting, you have strong attention to detail and take pride in your work. You have good organisational skills and understanding of workplace health & safety. You will be able to work independently and be a proactive team member.

Lakeside Hotel and Conference Centre, operate an award-winning venue situated on the picturesque grounds of Macquarie University Lake. The conference centre is a seven-days’ a week operation, providing a suite of services that support the operation of U@MQ, the wider Macquarie University Community and Non-University business, and include 4 star 40-room hotel, restaurant, bar, café and multipurpose function rooms.
