    Job Description:

    • Play a meaningful role supporting medical education and research that benefits the Western Australian community.
    • Be part of a collaborative Technical Services team working across Life Sciences disciplines in a world-class university.
    • Part-time (0.8 FTE) role until June 2027, with 0.4 FTE ongoing and the remaining hours fixed term.
    • Base salary range: $83,212 – $92,231 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

    About the area

    As part College Services, you will join the Technical Services team. The team provides discipline specific, applied knowledge and skill sets to support UWA’s teaching and research goals in unison with our academic staff.

    This position sits with the team that underpins training and learning across the broad Field of Education of “Life Sciences” and may include disciplines such as gross anatomy, physiology, sports science, optometry, podiatry and nursing including the curation of associated resources.

    About the opportunity

    • Provide high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the effective day-to-day delivery of the Body Donation Program.
    • Act as a key liaison for donors, families, healthcare professionals, and government stakeholders, delivering sensitive and professional communication at all stages.
    • Support compliance, record-keeping, and coordination activities, including memorial services and teaching/research preparation.

    About you

    • Demonstrated experience in administration, program coordination, or operational support within a sensitive or regulated environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage empathetically with grieving families and diverse stakeholders.
    • High attention to detail with proven ability to manage confidential information and maintain accurate data and records.
    • Ability to interpret and apply policies, legislation, and regulatory requirements in a structured and compliant way.
    • Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.

    Note: Employment checks will include information on gender-based violence, sexual harassment, and related misconduct to meet legal obligations. A current National Police Clearance, and ability to register with the WA Health Department will be required by the successful applicant.
