Our Macquarie Analytics team is hiring for an enthusiastic Senior Data Analyst, someone who is truly energised by the idea of using data to shape decisions that matter. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of strategy and insight, helping Macquarie University make evidence-based decisions that influence our long-term direction and performance.
Embedded within the Student Load Planning team, you will provide reporting, analysis, and insights across all aspects of student recruitment. You will design, develop, maintain and enhance a suite of dashboards while playing a pivotal part in delivering the University's load plan.

Providing specialist support and advice on analytics platforms and technologies to clients and IT leadership, including evaluating emerging technologies and trends.
Leading the design, build, configuration, testing, release, monitoring, and maintenance of analytics platforms, working with internal and external stakeholders and service partners.
Performing complex analysis across relational and non-relational datasets to facilitate evidence-based decisions and generate innovative insights.
Curating and linking benchmark and external datasets to enrich analytics and inform strategy.
Assessing and planning for the availability, performance, and capacity of services to meet business needs and service level expectations.
Leading continuous improvement of relevant processes, standards, and procedures, and maintaining clear support documentation.
Contributing to the development of analytics capability across the University through knowledge sharing and coaching and supporting project work as a subject matter expert.
