How you'll make an impact
As a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy, you will:
- Deliver engaging, student-centred teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Coordinate subjects and contribute to innovative curriculum development and program enhancement.
- Supervise and support students throughout their academic journey and professional placements.
- Develop a research program aligned with your expertise and JCU's strategic research priorities.
- Build strong partnerships with healthcare providers, industry and community stakeholders.
- Champion excellence in Occupational Therapy education with a focus on rural, remote, tropical and First Nations health.
What you'll bring
We're looking for an enthusiastic educator and clinician who is committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship.
You'll have:
- A qualification in Occupational Therapy and current (or eligible) AHPRA registration.
- Experience in tertiary teaching, curriculum development or clinical education.
- A passion for innovative and flexible learning approaches.
- Emerging research capability with evidence of publications or scholarly activity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A commitment to growing the Occupational Therapy profession and improving health outcomes for diverse communities.
Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or rural and remote practice will be highly regarded.
