Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
As a highly organised and customer-focused Business School Administrator, you will provide professional administrative support across the UC Business School, ensuring the smooth delivery of academic and operational activities. Working collaboratively within a supportive administration team, you will play a key role in enabling staff and students to succeed by delivering efficient, accurate, and responsive administrative services.
In this varied role, you will make a tangible contribution through:
- Coordinating academic support contracts, timesheets, and budget administration
- Supporting student grading, examinations, timetabling, and course administration
- Organising travel, events, meetings, and stakeholder communications
- Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and information repositories
- Delivering responsive administrative support to staff, students, and visitors
- Contributing to continuous improvement and collaborative ways of working
This is a role where no two days are the same. You'll work across a broad range of academic and operational activities while helping to ensure the Business School continues to deliver an exceptional experience for staff and students.
Mōu | Who You Are
You are an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting a diverse range of stakeholders. Highly organised and adaptable, you can manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and a strong customer focus.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- Previous administration experience within a tertiary, large or complex organisation
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience using Snaphire, orbit, grader, unimarket and jade SMS would be advantageous
- A customer-focused approach and strong stakeholder relationship skills
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite and confidence using databases and business systems
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- High levels of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
- An understanding of the tertiary education sector or New Zealand education environment (advantageous)

Reporting to the Administration Team Lead, you will work as part of a collaborative administration team supporting the UC Business School. You will build strong relationships with academic staff, professional services teams, students, and a wide range of stakeholders across the University, contributing to a positive and connected working environment.
