    About the position

    The role implements the University’s research reporting, benchmarking and performance frameworks, including essential compliance and reputation enhancing submissions. The role works within a cross functional team of analysts to gather information and provide analysis from a diverse range of information sources, and through contact with researchers and academic leadership.

    The Research Performance Analyst will maintain engagement with national and global developments in research reporting and analytics, performance measurement and evaluation, and will support the Research Office on projects and other activities from time to time.

    Skills and Experience

    To be considered for this position, you will have:

    • An undergraduate degree in any area relevant to the position with at least 3 years subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
    • Demonstrated high-level quantitative and qualitative analytic skills, including data acquisition, manipulation, and analysis. Use of one or more data platforms: e.g. Salesforce, Power BI.
    • Report writing using SQL, Power BI and Power Queries linking other systems.
    • Ability to apply numerical and analytical skills to provide insights of performance.
    • Utilise analytical skills to find solutions and make recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
