- Five (5) part-time (0.2FTE), 12-month fixed term contract opportunities
- Salary Range: $92,511 - $99,929 pro rata per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

Work that matters
A bold new pain education campaign, Rethink Pain, is rolling out across the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria, to improve understanding of chronic pain and foster community conversations about pain. Delivered in partnership with healthcare professionals and local community networks, this federally funded initiative will provide a pain science education and community events while also exploring the impact of chronic pain on people’s lives, health and how they access healthcare.

The team
The EQUIPP project team brings together academics, healthcare professionals, project partners and supporters, who are committed to changing the way Australians understand pain. Working closely with local communities during Stage 3 of the project (delivery of the public education campaign), the Senior Community Engagement Officer will establish, build and maintain trusted relationships with general practices, pharmacies, allied health providers, community health services, local councils and community groups, leading tailored engagement activities in their town and across the region.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Experience delivering community engagement, outreach or public awareness activities within healthcare or community settings
- Proven ability to build and sustain effective stakeholder relationships across diverse community and health sector groups
- Proven ability to lead local initiatives or provide informal leadership across distributed or peer-based teams
- Experience working autonomously to plan, prioritise and deliver activities aligned to defined objectives
- Experience collecting, analysing and reporting data to support programme evaluation and continuous improvement
- Experience using digital tools to support reporting, communication and dissemination of materials
