Job Description:
- Full-Time, Continuing
- Campus Independent (can be located at Bundoora or any of our VIC regional campuses) location
- Classification: HEO7 - Base salary from $106,472 + 17% superannuation
About the position
- Provide high-quality Library experience in all contact modes to ensure every contact with the Collections Team is friendly, positive and professional, creating a high standard of service delivery.
- Mentor, coach and develop staff and responsibly manage all levels of performance
- Lead direct reports to deliver agreed outputs aligned with section strategies.
- Review and analyse relevant statistics and make recommendations on changes to services, processes and procedure.
- Work collaboratively with other Library teams to source, develop and use content to promote the library’s information resources.
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- An undergraduate degree in any area relevant to the position with at least 4 years subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
- Demonstrated relevant experience relating to metadata creation and maintenance of information resources.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and application of current best practice in electronic datasets and serials management and an understanding of related financial management procedures
- Demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage complex workflows and concurrent projects
