About This Opportunity
Join a purposeful, collaborative learning community and play a vital role in supporting future rural and regional doctors. Based at the Rural Clinical School Central Queensland Learning Community in Rockhampton, this position provides high‑quality administrative, facilities and student accommodation support that underpins a positive, safe and well‑coordinated environment for students, staff and visitors. Working closely with the Facility Coordinator, you will be a trusted point of contact, known for your professionalism, initiative and commitment to service excellence, contributing directly to the smooth day‑to‑day operations of the Clinical Unit and the student experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating facilities and student accommodation support, including maintenance requests, routine inspections, stakeholder liaison and health and safety compliance.
Delivering high‑quality administrative and reception services, including meeting coordination, event logistics, recordkeeping and financial administration in line with University policies.
Supporting the Clinical Skills Program through equipment preparation, stock monitoring and coordination with Clinical Skills Educators and supervisors.
Contributing to a welcoming, inclusive and well‑organised learning environment by supporting onboarding, inductions and continuous improvement across facilities and operations.
About You
A relevant diploma or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience, with demonstrated capability in administrative or facilities-based roles.
Proven experience coordinating facilities, accommodation or building operations, with the ability to manage maintenance activities and stakeholder enquiries effectively.
Strong organisational skills, enabling the management of competing priorities, deadlines and operational demands while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise professionally with students, staff and external providers.
A solutions-focused mindset, supported by sound problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated adaptability and reliability, with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a small, service-oriented team.
