Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
We have an exciting opportunity for an Internationalisation Advisor to join Te Kura Umanga | UC Business School. The role of Internationalisation Advisor is to support the implementation of UC Business School’s internationalisation strategy, with a particular focus on the international student experience, employability outcomes, and strengthening opportunities for all students to develop their global capabilities.
Mōu | Who You Are
Naturally, you will have an outgoing personality with a passion and enthusiasm for supporting ākonga | students in the Education sector, as well as:
- 5+ years’ experience supporting the implementation of internationalisation initiatives in the tertiary sector, specifically in the fields of international student experience and employability, and global capability development.
- University-level degree in a business subject, ideally completed at a New Zealand university as an international student.
- Advanced and up to date knowledge of challenges, trends and key frameworks related to international student experience and employability, as well as global capability development, including active participation in key professional bodies and fora.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present confidently and effectively to large audiences, with proficiency in a language other than English that is widely spoken in one of UC Business School’s priority countries desirable.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with a wide variety of individuals both within and beyond the university, especially in an international setting and with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
