Base salary will be in the range $83k – $93k + 17% super (HEW Level 5)

Join a collaborative and purpose-driven team within the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences, where you will play a vital role in supporting student success and academic excellence. As a Student and Academic Administration Officer, you will deliver high-quality, responsive administrative services and advice to students, academic staff, and professional colleagues. Working in a fast-paced and inclusive environment, you will contribute to the smooth operation of student administration processes while helping create a supportive and engaging university experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivering accurate, timely, and helpful advice to students and stakeholders within University policies, procedures, and legislation
Processing a wide range of student administration activities, including admissions, enrolment, examinations, and progression
Supporting academic administration processes such as course profiles, timetabling, assessments, and grade management
Contributing to continuous improvement by reviewing processes, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting system updates
About You
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support and exceptional service. You will thrive in a collaborative team environment, demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving skills, and bring a commitment to continuous improvement, along with:
Completion of an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
Demonstrated knowledge of student and academic administration processes, or the capability to rapidly acquire and apply this knowledge.
Proven ability to effectively prioritise work, manage competing deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Strong initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to work autonomously while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
A customer-focused approach, with the ability to engage professionally and sensitively with students and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a demonstrated commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Experience working within a tertiary education environment or a large, complex organisation in a related administrative or student services role (highly regarded).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using systems such as SI-net, Business Objects, InPlace, CRM platforms, or similar enterprise systems (desirable).
