- Salary package: $88,670 - $100,815 per annum + 17% superannuation and annual leave loading- Full-time, 12-month fixed term role

The HR Services Officer, in the Employee Lifecycle team, sits in the heart of our People Operations - ensuring that every stage of the employment journey, from onboarding through to offshoot, is administered with accuracy and care.
Working within a collegiate and high-performing team, you will bring a meticulous approach to HR transactions while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance how we deliver services to our community.
This role offers the chance to build your expertise across HR systems, employment legislation, and best-practice administration.
About the Role
You will provide efficient, consistent, and accurate administration across the full employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
Administering position management, appointment variations, secondments and terminations within HR systems.
Processing transactions in alignment with relevant enterprise agreements, modern awards, employment legislation, organisational policies, procedures, and controls.
Responding to and resolving enquiries within agreed timeframes, escalating matters as appropriate.
Proactively monitoring data quality and consistency within and between HR systems, resolving errors with guidance from your Manager.
Preparing and providing standard reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Contributing to the implementation of process improvements and standardisation of standard operating procedures.
Performing system testing for upgrades and changes.
Providing operational and project-based assistance to the Manager on both strategic and complex matters.
Maintaining accurate filing, storage, and archiving of employment documentation in line with internal and external compliance requirements.

About You
You are a detail-oriented professional with a genuine interest in HR operations and a track record of delivering accurate, timely work in a fast-paced environment. You bring a proactive mindset to problem-solving and enjoy working in close collaboration, as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in HR administration or people services, including processing transactions across the employee lifecycle.
Sound knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, enterprise agreements, modern awards, and relevant employment legislation.
Proven ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail when managing data and documentation.
Experience using HR information systems (e.g., Workday, Ascender or similar HRIS platforms) and proficiency in standard office software.
Well-developed communication skills with the ability to respond to enquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to standardisation initiatives.
Capacity to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively both within a team and with minimal supervision.
