Base salary will be in the range $117,958 - $132,247 + 17% super (HEW Level 8)

This is a rare opportunity to shape how one of Australia’s leading medical schools supports, communicates and engages with its clinical partners to enable stronger connections across the UQ Medical School footprint.
As Manager, Clinical Engagement and Communications (Projects), you will operate at the intersection of strategy, relationships and delivery, working closely with the Deputy Head of School (Clinical Engagement) to translate vision into action.
In this role, you will strengthen engagement with clinicians, academic titleholders and health service partners across a large, distributed clinical network, creating clarity, consistency and a strong sense of shared purpose.

Key responsibilities will include:
Strategy and Implementation: Help shape the Clinical Engagement Strategy and turn strategic priorities into practical workplans ensuring effective execution and measurable impact.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Lead the design and delivery of strategic engagement and communication initiatives that strengthen connections, respond to stakeholder needs and enhance the overall stakeholder experience.
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with internal teams and the Deputy Head of School (Clinical Engagement) to continuously enhance the clinician experience, support workforce development and optimise operational effectiveness across the Medical School.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations, health, or related field; postgraduate qualifications desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships including the development and implementation of communications strategies.
Demonstrated experience contributing to the design or implementation of communication, engagement, or marketing solutions in complex organisations, including exposure to digital platforms, applications, or technology-enabled communication tools.
Exceptional organisational, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively with technical specialists (e.g. IT, digital, marketing or external vendors) to translate user needs into practical solutions.
Desirable:
Experience in large, complex health or education environments.
