    ENTERPRISE DIGITAL SUPPORT
    DIGITAL DIVISION | RATONGA MATIHIKO

    The University of Otago is looking for an experienced and people-focused leader to join our Enterprise Digital Support leadership team.

    In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering critical digital support services across the Dunedin campus, including desktop support, digital learning and AV technologies, and eConferencing services.

    You’ll work closely with academic and professional staff to deliver reliable, customer-focused digital services that support teaching, learning, research, and day-to-day operations.

    You will:
    • Lead and develop a high-performing digital support team.
    • Oversee operational delivery across desktop, AV, digital learning and collaboration services.
    • Build strong stakeholder relationships across the University.
    • Drive service quality, operational improvement, and service resilience.
    • Support incident management, continuity planning, and service recovery activities.

    You’ll be an experienced operational leader who thrives in complex service environments and enjoys building strong teams and relationships.

    You will bring:
    • Experience leading technical or digital support teams in a complex environment.
    • Strong people leadership and operational management capability.
    • Knowledge of IT service management practices and service delivery.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • A continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving ability.

    Experience in higher education, enterprise support environments, AV/digital learning technologies, or ITIL-based environments will be highly regarded.

    Enterprise Digital Support delivers responsive, reliable, and customer-focused digital services across the University. We support a broad range of technologies and services that enable teaching, learning, collaboration, and operations.

    Further Details | Pūroko

    This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent position, located in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.

    The appointment range for this role is $116,406 to $126,703 per annum. Top of the range is $134,425.
