PRIMARY DETAIL

• Location: Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde, Dharug land
• Appointment Type: Casual
• Classification: $24.98 per hour plus casual loading + 11% super + penalty rates.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our Hotel rooms, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all areas.

  • Ensure that all rooms and facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels as required.

  • Ensure all cleaning materials are used appropriately and stored safely.

  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking when necessary.

  • Adhere to all safety and cleaning protocols.

  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Available shifts for this role are between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday to Sunday. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Australia.

 

ABOUT YOU

With some previous experience working in a hotel housekeeping department or commercial cleaning setting, you have strong attention to detail and take pride in your work. You have good organisational skills and understanding of workplace health & safety. You will be able to work independently and be a proactive team member.

 

ABOUT US

Lakeside Hotel and Conference Centre, operate an award-winning venue situated on the picturesque grounds of Macquarie University Lake. The conference centre is a seven-days’ a week operation, providing a suite of services that support the operation of U@MQ, the wider Macquarie University Community and Non-University business, and include 4 star 40-room hotel, restaurant, bar, café and multipurpose function rooms.
