Job Description:

PRIMARY DETAIL

Deliver Reformer Pilates Classes in a group setting, demonstrating moves and correcting technique of participants where required to create an enjoyable experience for participants.

The Role 

 

We are currently seeking Reformer Pilates instructors to join our team to help launch our exciting new studio in 2025. The role requires you to deliver Reformer Pilates Classes to create a positive, high energy and memorable experience for our members.

Duties 

  • Deliver high quality Group Fitness classes with professionalism  

  • Exceptional knowledge of choreography and/or class programming 

  • Execute and demonstrate moves with safe and effective technique 

  • High standard of coaching that caters to all fitness levels and ability 

  • Create a positive, inclusive environment where members feel encouraged and supported 

  • Assist in promoting classes and gym events via in-house campaigns 

Skills & experience 

  • Demonstrated experience teaching Group Fitness classes 

  • Current Fitness Registration, First Aid and CPR  

  • Valid Working with children check  

  • Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent (GEL)  

  • Relevant program accreditation (e.g. Reformer Pilates) 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

 

This role requires applicants must have the right to work in Australia.

Based on the Macquarie University Campus, the centre is a multipurpose fitness venue featuring a fully equipped Health Club, an indoor and outdoor heated pool, Group Fitness classes, and a variety of social sport programs. Programs run seven days a week and incorporate participation from the broader community as well as university members.
