PRIMARY DETAIL

Exciting opportunity to provide administrative support to assist the effective delivery of high quality early learning centres and programs on a vibrant University campus close to public transport.

THE ROLE

We seek an Administration Officer, Early Learning to support our 4 early learning centres and programs operating at Macquarie University, in a fixed term (12 month), part time position of 30 hours per week. The role will be based at our office however the Administration Officer will be required to work at the early learning centre environments as required. All early learning centres are on Campus and within walking distance.

Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, Early Learning, you will provide administrative support services to assist in the effective delivery of early learning and vacation care programs and projects. You will be highly organised with excellent time management and communication skills. You will be proactive, work autonomously and effectively with stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a range of administrative and support services to assist the effective operation of the team, programs and projects
  • Act as the first point of contact for administrative enquiries, providing responses and timely communication to relevant stakeholders and customers, resolving, referring, or escalating as appropriate
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including third parties and the Centre Managers

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in administration (or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative and support services in a diverse working environment
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, exercise initiative, organise resources and meet deadlines
  • Office 365 and experience using (or willingness to learn) registered childcare management software (eg Xplor)
