The CQUniversity Library delivers digital library services differently. We are seeking a University Librarian to advance our digital library agenda and to raise the Library’s standing as a key partner in learning, teaching and research across the University. Your responsibilities will include:

•    Leading and managing the development and delivery of contemporary, digital library services including library information resources, records management services and the University’s scholarly outputs. •    Building and sustaining a network of key people from all levels, both internally and externally, to achieve desired outcomes, promote common agendas and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes. •    Driving a culture of achievement, collaboration, innovation and continual improvement by growing, developing and motivating your people.

Position Requirements

• Significant leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and implement them.
• Detailed and comprehensive knowledge in Library and Information Management including library systems, digital library resources, information and research services and management reporting.
• Proven track record in creating a culture of achievement and leading multiple diverse teams to produce successful outcomes. You have demonstrated the ability to capitalise on the specialist knowledge and skills of your team and to coach individuals to higher performance.
• Eligible for associate membership with the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
