- Total Remuneration $130,270 to $153,255 pa (including salary of $110,080 to $129,503 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality clinical education and research, while also supporting the growth of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
As a Clinical Academic in Medical Sonography, you will play a key role in coordinating & monitoring clinical learning experiences for the Bachelor of Medical Sonography/Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography students, fostering industry partnerships, and ultimately ensuring the success of students in their clinical placements. You will facilitate effective learning opportunities in practice-based courses, while contributing to the overall quality and outcomes of clinical learning through your scholarly activities, research, and involvement in professional initiatives.

Position Requirements
- Detailed understanding of current professional educational issues in Medical Sonography.
- Eligible for registration with the ASAR.
- Completion of a postgraduate qualification in Medical Sonography (general), clinical experience as a Sonographer.
- Prior teaching experience in the area of Medical Sonography (Desirable).
- High level negotiation skills and level of credibility in order to negotiate and establish partnerships with industry.
- High level interpersonal qualities and collegial approaches that facilitate teamwork across campuses planning and contribution to a productive, healthy and supportive work environment for both staff and students.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and as a team leader when required, including communication, consultation and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated record of contribution to the profession through industry, community and/or teaching involvement.
- Ability to contribute to scholarship and professional activities at various levels within Sonography from regional to national and/or international participation.
