The Office of Indigenous Engagement is responsible for leading and implementing a range of projects that support First Nations success at CQUniversity. This includes managing initiatives from the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and the First Nations Workforce Strategy (FNWS) and providing support and advice to faculties and divisions across a range of specialties.
As a key member of the Office of Indigenous Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future for First Nations students and staff. Your primary objective will be to lead and manage projects, coordinate university-wide implementation of RAP and FNWS deliverables, and maintain up-to-date knowledge on reconciliation issues. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with significant experience in project management and expertise in using large corporate systems. You will confidently manage stakeholder relationships, maintain project records, and consistently uphold a high standard of service.

Position Requirements
- Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.
- Proficient in computer operations, including business software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email) and corporate systems.
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, University policies and procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience liaising and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team under tight deadlines.
