CQUniversity’s Finance Directorate is responsible for the timely processing and disbursing of payments for CQUniversity accounts, as well as offering guidance and resolutions to both internal and external stakeholders regarding relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
As a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for handling complex reconciliations, performing detailed data analysis, and ensuring accurate system configurations. Using your up-to-date knowledge on legislative requirements, you will also be responsible for the collection, administration and processing of University debtors. You will possess the ability to analyse and identify financial inconsistencies, combined with a proactive approach to creative problem-solving.

Position Requirements
- A relevant degree with subsequent experience; or a broad knowledge in financial accounting practices; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated understanding or ability to acquire understanding of ACCC Guidelines for Collectors and Creditors, Office of Fair Trading guidelines and other legislative requirements.
- Competence in utilising large corporate accounting information systems and business support software that involves specialised spreadsheet functionalities.
- Proven experience and knowledge of accounting procedures including accounts receivable and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent communication skills, maintaining positive interactions with stakeholders and team members.
