- Academic Level B: $106,593 - $125,774 + 17% superannuation contributions.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer, Medical Education to join our team at the College of Medicine and Dentistry based at the JCU Cairns Nguma-bada campus in Smithfield. A full-time continuing position, we will also consider part time and job share opportunities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- A postgraduate qualification in a relevant medical sciences, biomedical sciences, clinical sciences, health or public health field
- Expert knowledge in one or more of the following areas: human pathology/histopathology, psychology, rural health, Australian Health System, emergency medicine, and/or general practice.
- Skills and experience in teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate health professional education with evidence of teaching quality
- Experience using and/or designing educational technologies, and with online delivery methods
- A record of research, publications and conference presentations relevant to the College of Medicine & Dentistry's strategic priorities
- Experience and success in research mentoring and supervision.
- Demonstrated high-level communication skills, with experience relating to a range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated high-level organisational and time management skills and an ability to work independently and within teams
Desirable
- Experience with processes and learning management systems used at JCU such as Blackboard Ultra, Panopto lecture capture system
- Evidence of ability to support and inspire undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives
