About the opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Lecturer to join our faculty, working within a collaborative environment and contributing to a scholarly and collegial community. This is an opportunity to make significant, high-quality contributions to teaching and research within your discipline. You will advance your knowledge by developing active scholarship of learning and teaching or research programs, including seeking funding, conducting research, and publishing.

This role requires you to embrace challenges, showing flexibility and a willingness to take on new opportunities as they arise. You will demonstrate a commitment to excellence by coordinating and delivering units, and supervising honours, masters, and PhD level research projects. Additionally, you will build connections by forging links with domestic and international stakeholders and industry partners.

Eligibility/Requirements:

  • Completion of a PhD in Nursing or a related field.
  • Hold current unconditional registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Proven track record of research publications, supervision of higher degree research students, and success in securing grant funding.
  • Extensive clinical experience in midwifery.
  • Evidence of mentoring and supervising early to mid-career researchers (highly desired).
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in teaching at the tertiary education level.
