About the opportunity:
Make significant, high-quality contributions to teaching and research within the Midwifery discipline. As a Lecturer at the University of Canberra, you will have the flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges and contribute to the scholarly and collegial community. Reporting to the Discipline Lead, Midwifery, you will be responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of undergraduate and postgraduate course material with support from senior staff.
You will prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, and workshops. Effective communication with students and staff is essential, including the provision of pastoral care.

Eligibility/Requirements:
- Completion or near completion of a PhD in Midwifery (or a relevant and related field)
- Hold current unconditional registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
- Extensive clinical experience in midwifery
- High level interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and establish effective relationships with staff, students and industry stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in teaching.
