Employment type: Part-time (21 hours pw) fixed-term contract (parental leave)
Duration: 12 months from January 2025
Remuneration: Level 8 from $123,044 (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation

Why Your Role Matters
We are seeking a psychologist to work within a small team, providing counselling and support to UNSW Canberra students. The Psychology and Wellness Canberra team plays a key role in supporting students' mental health and general wellbeing throughout their time at UNSW. The support for this role focuses on UNSW students also attending the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA).
Who You Are (skills and experience):
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in delivering short to medium length evidence-based psychological interventions
- Well-developed clinical skills
- Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologist
- Relevant tertiary qualification
Desirable but not mandatory:
- Experience working with young people aged 17 – 25 years and/or
- Familiarity with issues facing University students and/or members of the Australian Defence Force
