About the opportunity

The Administration Assistant within the Faculty of Education. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a broad range of administrative support, adjusting to the faculty’s dynamic needs.
  • Assist with enquiries, documentation, meeting coordination, and secretariate support.
  • Maintain administrative systems, databases, and website updates.
  • Support faculty programs, projects, and on-campus orientations for new staff and visitors.
  • Collaborate with university teams to facilitate faculty involvement in university-wide activities.
About you

You will be proactive, organised, and adaptable to evolving administrative tasks. More specifically, you will have:

  • A relevant qualification at Certificate level and three years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with good oral and written communication
  • Experience and in general office and computer-based administration systems, including Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Salary and benefits

  • Full-time (35 hours per week), fixed term (12 Months)
  • Located at Gold Coast, QLD 4225
  • HEW Level 4. The base salary ranges from $72,947 - $78,337 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $91,654.
