About the Graduate Research School

At JCU our Graduate Research School (GRS) is dedicated to fostering an enriching and supportive environment for our Higher Degree Research (HDR) students. We are committed to enhancing the academic and personal experiences of our HDR candidates through innovative solutions and comprehensive support services.
 
The GRS’s role is ‘empowering tomorrow’s researchers’ by supporting research education throughout James Cook University (JCU) and developing and refining the University’s overall Higher Degree by Research (HDR) strategy.

These positions are responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs and initiatives that enhance the overall experience of HDR students. These roles require a strong background in educational program design, student services, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of HDR students.
