  • Fixed Term (until 29.09.2025), Full Time (1.0 FTE)

  • CQUniversity Mackay, Melbourne, Bundaberg or Rockhampton (Relocation support available)
  • Higher Education Worker Level 7  
  • Total Remuneration $113,224 to $123,474 pa (including salary of $95,676 to $104,338 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

A career in the Educational Quality and Integrity Directorate will see you involved in the development and implementation of the University’s vision, by supporting initiatives and activities that ensure the quality and integrity CQUniversity degrees. You will support learning and teaching governance and quality frameworks and best practice approaches the quality assurance of courses.

In this role, you will lead and foster proactive strategic alignment with external education providers and other organisations. You will manage work within the operations of the team in processing credit for prior learning and articulation agreements.    

You will supervise and lead a team of dedicated practitioners and take responsibility for all aspects of performance management, training, and professional development of the team

Position Requirements

 

  • Comprehensive knowledge, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge, of issues relevant to the higher education and VET sector, CQUniversity’s courses/units and policies/procedures and current legislative guidelines, with the ability to interpret and implement, as necessary.
  • Knowledge in the use of large corporate information systems, web browsers, email software, the Microsoft suite of programs, customer relationship systems and quality standards and processes.
  • Outstanding oral, written, and online communication skills, with the ability to develop and implement programs and resources that engage the diverse student cohort.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain networks of key stakeholders at all levels and negotiate as required to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
