About This Opportunity  

We are seeking a motivated, reliable and customer focussed Future Students Coordinator to join the Future Students Australia team. This position will contribute to strategy development and the implementation of an integrated student recruitment and conversion plan to achieve domestic commencement targets.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work co-operatively in a team to contribute to the development and implementation of a recruitment plan for the domestic undergraduate market to achieve recruitment targets.

  • Assist the Senior Manager by providing timely intelligence and researching trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.

  • Lead the development and execution of student recruitment initiatives, overseeing all facets of planning and project management under the guidance of the Senior Manager.

  • Work effectively to build and enhance relationships with channel partners (e.g. schools, institutions, industry, and government), segment influencers (e.g. parents and peers) and internal stakeholders to deliver recruitment initiatives to meet domestic recruitment targets.

  • Work with stakeholders to deliver future student recruitment activities including, but are not limited to, in school presentations, information sessions, career markets and expos, campus experiences and other recruitment events.

  • Arrange logistics to ensure effective lead capture at recruitment events, further ensuring leads are effectively entered into an appropriate nurturing stream (CRM) to support conversion.

  • Assist with monitoring and assessing recruitment outcomes from initiatives including with channel partners.

  • This role requires regular travel locally, regionally and interstate.

  • This role requires occasional weekend and overnight working commitments.

  • You must hold or be eligible for a Queensland Government Blue Card (working with children & young people).

  • You must hold a current and open driver’s license (unrestricted).

This is a Full-time, Continuing position. At HEW Level 6, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range of $88,099.39 to $94,512.08 plus a generous super allowance of up to 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $103,076.28 – $110,579.13 per annum.  

About You

  • Possession of a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • Proven track record in contributing to recruitment plans and successfully executing initiatives, showcasing effective customer service and relationship management skills.

  • Extensive experience in providing market intelligence, conducting research, and collecting data to assess recruitment initiatives and shape future strategies.

  • Capability to adeptly develop and manage relationships with channel partners to achieve business goals.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing workloads and implementing recruitment initiatives, encompassing logistics coordination, budget preparation, and problem-solving to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.

  • Highly developed organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with a demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of workload.

  • Effective in both independent work and collaborative teamwork for achieving shared outcomes and results.

  • In-depth knowledge of the Australian secondary and higher education sector.
