About the opportunity

The Manager, Shared Services Hub is a key leadership role within Southern Cross Universitys Student Administration Services, responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Client Service team. The Manager will play a critical role in delivering client-focused services to University students at all stages of the student life-cycle, promoting a cohesive and collegial environment, and driving excellence in service delivery.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and motivate the Client Service Team to deliver exception student centric services.
  • Work collaboratively with Client Service Managers at SCU campuses to ensure coordinated and consistent service delivery.
  • Monitor and review service performance based on evidence-based measures with a focus on quality.
  • Undertake and promote continuous analysis and evaluation of systems, business processes, team functions, services, performance and design and implement change to improve service provision.
  • Develop and maintain Client Service team documentation, including procedures and processes, to ensure effective and responsive service delivery.
  • Manage resource planning, staff development, and leave requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and achieve operational and strategic goals, promoting a client service perspective to process improvement initiatives.
About you

You will be a motivated and experienced administrative professional with a passion for delivering and promoting exceptional client service. More specifically, you will have:

  • A relevant degree and at least four years of tertiary administrative experience, or equivalent.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to apply, interpret and communicate complex processes and policies.
  • Experience leading a team in a dynamic client service focused environment.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with stakeholder engagement expertise.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with ability to manage competing priorities.
Salary and benefits

  • Full-time, continuing (permanent)
  • Located at Gold Coast, QLD 4225. Generous relocation support available.
  • HEW Level 7. The base salary ranges from $99,711 - $108,268 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $126,674.
