Remuneration: Level C from $145,071 - $166,436 plus 17% Superannuation

The UNSW Institute for Cyber Security (IFCYBER) spans both the Canberra and Sydney campuses. We are an active community with nearly thirty active members across our faculties. Collectively, we are placing Australia as a leader in conducting excellence in multidisciplinary cyber security research, education, innovation, and commercialisation.

UNSW is seeking a Deputy Director for the institute. In this position you will play an important role in developing and delivering the programmes of work that span across research, outreach, training, and consultancy.

Who You Are (skills and experience):
Our ideal candidate will have:

  • a PhD in Cyber Security.
  • excellent attention to detail.
  • experience working across academic disciplines on cyber security problems.
  • experience working as part of a research team where you have led research activities
  • experience with larger projects.
  • consultancy and media engagement skills.

Eligibility:

The successful candidate will be required to work from the UNSW Canberra campus. To be successful you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. UNSW is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
