About the Team

The Integrity and Standards Unit (ISU) collaborates with the University community to uphold integrity, ensure adherence to expected standards of behaviour, and address complaints and reports related to University activities. Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Operations), the ISU strategically manages the University's frameworks for complaint resolution; student discipline; and child safety.

About the Opportunity

As the Senior Case Officer (Academic Integrity), you will provide expert case management advice and support to senior leaders and staff. You will develop and lead complex case management strategies specifically for academic misconduct investigations, including risk mitigation. Additionally, you will conduct thorough case investigations and support strategic initiatives within the Integrity and Standards Unit (ISU).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support on managing complex academic misconduct cases.
  • Develop and implement case management strategies, including risk mitigation.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into academic misconduct.
  • Support strategic initiatives directed by the ISU Manager.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to uphold the university’s integrity standards.

About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate a relevant tertiary qualification and extensive practical experience in case management, particularly in handling academic misconduct investigations.

Note: Provision of a Current National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check will be required by the successful applicant.
