About the Opportunity:

We're currently seeking a Senior Technical Services Officer to join our dynamic team of professionals at the School of Rehabilitation and Exercise Science. As part of this position, you will be pivotal in ensuring all requirements for academic practical-based teaching and research activities are met and delivered, and all laboratories function within established operational and safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you will possess –

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude to support disciplines including Sport & Exercise Science, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy.
  • Proficiency in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting exercise science, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and allied health equipment.
  • A strong understanding of work health and safety requirements for laboratory operations.
  • High-level organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt as needed.
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a small team.

Experience in supporting teaching and research activities in an educational setting is preferred.
