About the Position

As a Senior Lecturer in Anatomy you will provide high quality teaching and assessment of large cohorts of undergraduate students undertaking anatomy.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, practical classes, and workshops
  • Supporting enhancement of the Anatomy program including ongoing development of a high quality blended learning environment
  • Leadership of teaching teams as course coordinator
  • Delivering an excellent student experience
  • If you have an established research programme, opportunities to continue your research activities will be considered


About You

The successful candidate will have a proven record of developing and implementing high-quality, safe, and inclusive learning environments for students using adaptive and innovative teaching methods, such as online teaching and hands-on experiences.

You will have:

  • A PhD in anatomy or an associated discipline
  • The capacity to teach a broad range of anatomical topics and concepts including but not restricted to cadaveric musculoskeletal anatomy and head and neck anatomy
  • Proven excellence in high quality teaching demonstrated by strong student outcomes and/or teaching awards
  • Experience with course coordination responsibilities and administrative duties

The remuneration for this position is ranges from $132,768 - $153,093 plus 17% superannuation.
