 We now have an opportunity available for passionate and experienced Academic to join our team within the College of Science and Engineering as an Associate Professor, Chemical Engineering. 
  • Full-time; continuing
  • Academic Level D $150,295 - $165,150 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits
  • Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas. 
What you can accomplish in the role
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging academic to join a team of sustainability-focused academics dedicated to strengthening the discipline through pursing excellence in teaching and research.
 
With a strong interdisciplinary background you will focus on clean energy systems including critical minerals processing and/or hydrogen technology, to meet Australia’s net zero ambitions. The position will leverage on the Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Trailblazer funding and other federal and state investments to focus on research to boost technology for the metals and critical minerals industry of northern Australia.
 
Working with senior leaders within the College and across the Academy, you will help grow the research profile of the College and play an active role in shaping the future of our teaching and research programs.
