The School of Biological Sciences has research strengths in three broad discipline areas:

  • Ecology and Conservation
  • Evolution in a Changing World
  • Genetics, Genomics, and Health

The Members of the School contribute to the work of several international conventions and agreements, and play leading roles in professional societies spanning evolution, ecology, developmental biology, the environment, and human health.

The School of Biological Sciences is hiring three (3) positions across:

  • Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Global Change Biology
  • Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Plant Community Ecology
  • Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Botany or Phycology

Requirements:

  • A PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated research expertise in the respective area of specialisation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to contribute to teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
