The Opportunity

Join the forefront of innovation in education and become a key player in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, part of Australia's #1 Engineering Faculty. We are on the lookout for a visionary Associate Professor to join the team.

As the successful candidate you will serve as a discipline leader in the research and education of one of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering’s existing areas of focus, including Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Manufacturing or Automation.

To be successful in this role, you have a doctoral qualification in the relevant field, and recognised experience in the discipline. You will have a strong publication record in high-quality journals & a successful track record in obtaining external research grants. Your evidence of strong industry connections and/or the demonstrated ability to access commercial funding will be looked at favourably.
