Job Description:

  • 2 x Level 6, full-time appointments on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: $87,460 – $92,430 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the team
Your work area The Strategy, Planning and Performance (SPP) division leads the development and maintenance of university wide integrated strategic plans, planning processes, initiatives and performance requirements to support the University in the achievement of its objectives and enhance the University’s overall performance and reputation. The Division also coordinates the provision of timely and accurate business intelligence information to support effective planning and decision making across the University.

About the opportunity
As the appointee you will provide data collection, analysis and reporting to meet the University’s internal and external reporting needs in order to meet our statutory compliance obligations and sector reporting.

About you
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

  • A degree qualification in a quantitative discipline.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Excel. Excellent data analysis skills using SQL and R programming language.
  • Familiarity with higher education reporting requirements is desirable.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills. Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in the handling of data and the preparation of reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with an ability to set priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team.
