  • Base salary range: $95,737 – $106,223 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity
As a Coordinator (School Operations), you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the UWA Law School within the university. Your efforts will contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the operational activities of one or more schools, aligning services from various functional areas to meet the schools' goals.
  • Manage the delivery of administrative support services, including specialised teaching and research administration.
  • Assist the Head of School and School Executive in planning and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the College operations team to optimise policies, processes, and systems.
  • Supervise a small team, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Address complex inquiries and provide troubleshooting and advice to resolve issues.
  • Set priorities, monitor workflows, and ensure efficient systems operation.
  • Engage with clients to devise innovative solutions and provide authoritative advice.
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the schools.

About you
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency along with extensive senior administrative experience. You will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, effective negotiation abilities, excellent organisational skills, and adept prioritisation and deadline management capabilities. Proficiency in various computing skills, including word processing and databases, is essential. You should showcase your ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, with a proven track record in providing support in a higher education setting. Additionally, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in supervising a small team, providing training and development, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
